DAVE BREWSTER

Dave Brewster, Doctor of Physical Therapy, began his academics at Frostburg State University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education in 1991. In 1999 he earned a Master of Arts in Exercise Science with concentration in Exercise Physiology from Indiana State University where he also served as an adjunct faculty. In that same year, Dave earned a Master’s in Physical Therapy degree followed by a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2006 from Shenandoah University. He is a certified athletic trainer, dry needling certified through Myopain Seminars ® , and a Fascial Manipulation Stecco Method ® practitioner. Dave has served his profession as the chair of the Blue Ridge district of the Virginia Physical Therapy Association as well as a Virginia delegate in the American Physical Therapy Association’s House of Delegates.

Dave served the communities he has lived in as a certified emergency medical technician in volunteer fire departments and rescue squads. He is active in his church and works with Helping Children Worldwide, an organization that assists vulnerable children as well as providing basic medical services in Sierra Leone, West Africa. An Eagle Scout, he has served the Boy Scouts of America at the Pack, Troop, and Crew level. He is a runner and member of the JFK 50 Mile 500 Mile club. Originally from Westminster, Maryland, Dave and his wife Anne have two adult children and a dog, and lives in Frederick County, Virginia.
